Hi, I’m Rebecca, a fitness and wellbeing instructor with over 30 years of experience helping people move better, feel stronger and genuinely enjoy exercise.
My journey began in 1993 teaching aerobics, and since then I’ve worked with people of all ages and abilities across a wide range of exercise styles. For 18 years I owned and ran my own gym, Fitbods, where I built a thriving fitness community and supported hundreds of people on their health and wellbeing journeys.
I’ve been teaching Pilates for around 10 years and Yoga for the past 7 years. In 2022, I qualified in Gentle Years Yoga, a specialist approach designed to support older adults and those with limited mobility through safe, gentle movement. This includes Chair Yoga classes, which are ideal for anyone looking for a more accessible way to stay active.
I’m passionate about helping people work towards their own goals, whether that’s improving strength and flexibility, increasing mobility, building confidence, reducing stress, or simply carving out some well-deserved time for themselves. My classes are relaxed, supportive and community focused, because I firmly believe that movement should feel enjoyable, welcoming and empowering for everybody.
When I’m not teaching Pilates or Yoga, you’ll usually find me out walking in the countryside with my cockapoo, Tia, who does a very good job of keeping me active too!
